Project Background

Zhushan Township in Nantou County is Taiwan’s bamboo industry hub, home to the densest concentration of bamboo craftspeople and bamboo supply chains in the country. The Zhushan Community Development Association (5th term, 259 members) has an active 31-person environmental volunteer team and has been operating community markets for years—providing a ready execution platform.
